This did not happen by miracle or chance. The key was a well-conceived and executed plan. Following an informed approach will help you turn your invention into a bonanza of extra income.
Getting Started:
The Ideabook
Keep a bound ideabook of your invention idea. Date your entries. Draw it. State what it is, how it?s done and for whose use? Examine possible variations. Add and define over time.
Get it Notarized
If your idea still seems brilliant after a month or two, get it officially confirmed that you conceived your invention idea on a particular date, and have your notes notarized. This may help if you, at some point, need to prove that you were ?first to invent? that idea.
Seek and Search
Do your own patent search to ascertain if your invention is original and prospectively patentable.

Emergency repairs sought on county highway garage
Rebuilding a section of Erie County’s highway garage in East Concord will cost about $450,000.
County Executive Chris Collins is asking the Legislature to approve the repairs on an emergency basis, so his Public Works Department can again park its plows under cover there.
In a letter to the Legislature, Collins said rain and snow led to the failure of the roof over a portion of the building in early December.
Collins declared an emergency Dec. 18 so officials could hire a contractor without competitive bidding.
Let the important people in your life
know what you are up to. Your spouse or love interest, parents, children,
co-workers, and close friends will often pitch in and help you to meet
your fitness or weight loss commitment to yourself if you make them aware
and ask for their support.
Leverage these relationships to delegate some of your normal responsibilities
or even allow you to shift appointments that you have with them as you restructure
your schedule for your workout. If any of them are into exercise or trying
to lose weight themselves, don’t hesitate to form a buddy system with them
as you move forward with your program.
Don’t beat yourself up
No matter who you are, there will be times in your workout program
that you just aren’t able to keep it up as you would like due to outside
demands. Don’t be too tough on yourself when that happens.
Remember that it is what you do
consistently
over a long period
of time, not what you do in spurts, that truly counts. Just make sure that
you get back on the horse full force as soon as you can and continue to
press forward, doing your best to avoid slacking off again.
No matter what goals you have for health, fitness, or weight loss, you
CAN fit an effective exercise program into that hectic schedule of yours
and be amazingly successful at getting the exact results that you want!

A 25-year-old Ngaruawahia man has been arrested in connection with an attack in the town which left a police officer bashed, bloodied and unconscious in the gutter on Wednesday night.
The man was to appear in Hamilton District Court this morning on charges of aggravated wounding, breach of a protection order and male assaults female.
Huntly sub-area manager Senior Sergeant Pete Simpson said the officer was waiting alone for backup after being called to a Newton St address about 9pm when he intervened after seeing a woman assaulted. He briefly spoke to a man before he was hit to the ground and left unconscious and bloodied.
It is understood a woman in the group called police from the patrol car radio. The officer received stitches and was recovering at home.
It’s the second attack on the town’s police officers in a month after two officers were set upon by a group of youths in Ellery St on March 26.
Yesterday’s incident sparked a call by Police Association president Greg O’Connor for all police cars to have a firearm or Taser. “But for the actions of a bystander .

Arab League chief optimistic over peace talks
DAMASCUS, July 15 (Xinhua) — Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa said on Wednesday he is quite optimistic over the peace talks between the Palestinian National Authority (PA) and Israel.
During his meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al- Moallem, Moussa confirmed that he would wait for the Arab Follow- up Committee meeting on July 29 which is going to discuss the results of the indirect talks between PNA and Israel.
The Israeli siege imposed on Gaza Strip was also discussed as Moussa confirmed that it must be lifted rather than reduced or even frozen.
PNA and Israel in May kicked off proximity talks brokered by the United States, aiming to resume direct negotiations that came to a halt when Israel launched a military operation on the Gaza Strip in December 2008.
Moussa met earlier this morning Syrian President Bashar al- Assad, as he highlighted Syria’s successful role in dealing with the regional affairs

Retailers control knives
0 Comments | Taranaki Daily News; New Plymouth, New Zealand, Jul 13, 2010 | by Felicity ROSS
Some Taranaki stores are already controlling knife sales in a bid to prevent crime.
Justice Minister Simon Power recently announced a collection of initiatives including limiting the sale of knives through a voluntary accord with retailers.
Taranaki Hunting and Fishing says it limits who it sells knives to, and the items are stored in a locked cabinet.
“Obviously if we get someone in here who doesn’t seem to be using it for good intentions then we take it upon ourselves not to sell it to them,” manager Shay Fairhurst said yesterday.
Mr Fairhurst said a lot of his customers were hunters, fisherman and farmers and carried knives on them 100 per cent of the time

If your customer finds out you weren?t being honest, you could ruin your business relationship.
When you choose a network business, take into consideration their product. See if you can believe in it and pitch for it effectively.
3. Recruit the right people
Don?t just recruit anybody. Make sure the people you recruit share an unbridled passion, and tireless work ethic with like you. If you don?t chances are, they will drop out of the networking business and you will not be able to build your downline.
4. Don?t force the issue
When trying to close a sale, don?t force the issue. If you do, people will get suspicious as to why you are doing so. Are selling them counterfeit items? Are you only interested in your profit and not in your customer?s satisfaction? Always keep this in mind: the customer always comes first. Please them, and the profits and windfall from these relationships will follow.
5. Look the part
When recruiting others, you can?t say, ?You will get rich with network marketing,? and look shabby all the while. They?d say, ?I thought you got rich from this thing, why do you look like you didn?t.? People will want to see a visible sign of success.
